Age Better Champions help people over 50 with isolation and loneliness using the New Economic’s Five Ways to Wellbeing. Champions can work in groups or in one-to-one sessions to explore simple everyday activities designed to boost wellbeing and reduce isolation.
If you are over 50, you can take part in this project – either to volunteer as an Age Better Champion, or by having the support of an Age Better Champion to help you reduce your own isolation and improve your own wellbeing.
Be a participant
Are you over 50 and do you experience loneliness or isolation from time to time? Would it be helpful to speak to someone of a similar age who may have been through similar life experiences? All you have to do is get in touch.
Be a volunteer (an Age Better Champion)
Are you over 50 and have experienced loneliness or isolation in the past, and want to volunteer as an ‘Age Better Champion’ to share your experiences to help others? To be a volunteer you must have first-hand experience of isolation. We’ll provide all the training and support you need.
