A ‘test and learn’ approach

Over the six years of our programme, Age Better in Sheffield has worked with partner organisations to deliver projects aimed at reducing loneliness and social isolation in people aged fifty and over. We adopted a ‘test and learn’ approach meaning there was flexibility to try new, innovative ways of delivering a service or activity, and opportunities to reflect on what did and didn’t work. We now have a bank of project reports, learning resources, blogs and videos which not only chart the activities and outcomes of Age Better in Sheffield but demonstrate ways of working to make Sheffield a better place to grow older in.
